AI Algorithm Engineer

About The Company

• A leading electronics manufacturer and one of the top sellers worldwide for power bank products.
• Products include power banks, robot vacuums, smart home devices, and more.
• We are seeking AI Engineers with expertise in Computer Vision for smart device design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize AI models for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, recognition, and action recognition.
• Continuously enhance model performance for improved customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Implement AI model compression techniques to deploy models effectively on IoT embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with other AI team members to create optimized models and applications for real-time image and video processing on embedded systems.
• Team work within an agile development team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on performance and extensibility.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for production-level programming.
• Expertise in computer vision and AI development, with experience deploying models on embedded systems.
• Strong background in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of transfer learning and experience in model optimization techniques.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas through data storytelling and information visualization.
• Experience with deploying AI solutions on edge platforms is a plus.
• Preferred: Candidates with a track record of algorithm competition awards or publications in prestigious conferences or journals.
• Preferred: Mandarin language skills for seamless communication with counterparts in China.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Location: Marina One
• Working hours: 5 Days, fully on-site
• Salary: up to S$10k and 2 month Performance Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
