Job Title: Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master (IDMP Transition to BAU)
Location: Warsaw, Hybrid (2 days in the office per week)
Contract Type: B2B Contract
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to oversee the critical final stages of our IDMP (Identification of Medicinal Products) program, transitioning it to a Business-As-Usual (BAU) model. This role is pivotal to ensuring a seamless handover to operational teams while embedding efficient processes to ensure ongoing management and compliance.
You will lead an international team of 50 direct and 100 indirect team members. You will collaborate closely with a Change & Communication Manager, ensuring effective transition management. The role requires a highly skilled project manager with significant experience in large-scale projects, ideally with a scientific background, to support the successful delivery of this initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee the completion of final deliverables in the IDMP program. Ensure all milestones are met, and the transition plan is implemented smoothly.
- Scrum Management:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including reviews and PI planning, maintaining team focus and productivity.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a key contact between project teams, business units, and senior management, ensuring regular communication on progress, issues, and changes.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify and manage risks during the transition phase, working with teams to create effective mitigation strategies.
- Transition Planning:
- Develop and manage the IDMP transition plan, ensuring the seamless move from project delivery to BAU. Ensure that all processes, documentation, and knowledge are transferred appropriately.
- Change Management:
- Support the business in adapting to new processes, providing training and guidance to operational teams.
- Documentation:
- Ensure all project-related documentation is completed and properly handed over to the relevant BAU teams.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Establish metrics to monitor the post-transition performance of the IDMP processes, ensuring they meet both regulatory and business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a solid background in Scrum methodology. Proven experience in transitioning projects to a BAU state is highly desirable.
IDMP Knowledge:
- Strong familiarity with Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP) standards and regulatory requirements.
Certifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is required.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
Stakeholder Management:
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills to address project challenges efficiently.
Adaptability:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities
Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, MS Project) and familiarity with the ISO IDMP.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
- Knowledge of data management and regulatory compliance processes.
- Experience in process improvement and change management.
Additional Information:
- Team Composition:
- You will lead an international team of 50 direct reports and 100 indirect reports.
- Collaboration:
- Close collaboration with a Change & Communication Manager is required. The strength of this duo will depend on your individual capabilities. A stronger Project Manager may work with a less experienced Change Manager, and vice versa.
- Budget Considerations:
- The budget for the two roles is shared, and compensation will be adjusted accordingly based on the strength and experience of each candidate.
- Hybrid Work:
- This role requires presence in the office two days per week.
If you're an experienced project leader with a strong background in Scrum and transitioning projects to BAU, and have experience in large-scale, complex environments, we encourage you to apply.
