We invite an Senior BackEnd Engineer to join the VeliEDGEproduct team.

Edge is a dynamic, revolutionary client engagement and marketing automation tool to boost customer retention.

It is based on the Cloud Native Saas B2B Approach and enables businesses to automate emails, web push notifications, and SMS messages to retain customers and drive lifetime value.

Tech stack:

PHP 8, Laravel, Node.JS, React.JS, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, Grafana, Docker, k8s, Kafka, and Redis

In this role, you will:

Implementing the new features to the product
Take part in building and maintaining company products
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment
Make periodical code review and optimization
Exploring new ideas and best solutions
You will be challenged to meet high standards, and deliver constant improvement in everything you do

Skills and experience you will need:

Strong proficiency in PHP 7+, Laravel
Strong proficiency in NodeJs
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and scalable
Experience with databases such as ClickHouse (mandatory), PostgreSQL, MySQL
Linux/Unix-based operating systems and a command-line interface experience
Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience with unit tests
Knowledge of OOP, and design patterns
Product-oriented mindset
Proficient in English

Will be a plus:

Understanding of system design approaches such as DDD, CQRS, MA, and other architectural patterns
Excellent problem-solving skills
