Forte Group is looking for Platform Operations Engineer (Integration Engineer) to join engineering team who develop and owns an enterprise-class software product that enables automation for job scheduling and workflow orchestration across applications, systems and infrastructure. The entire product ecosystem consists of multiple applications tightly integrated with each other and used to orchestrate complex IT workflows, optimize workload automation activities, provide centralized management of schedules, collect analytics and stream data related to the software operations.
About the Team
The entire team is international and distributed across Poland, Ukraine and the United States, we have colleagues in Germany and other European countries as well. The engineering team consists of 2x end-to-end Feature Teams working on the product functionality, and a dedicated Test Automation team. Teams use Jira to manage their backlog and to prioritize work items, documentation hosted in Confluence. Meetings and interpersonal communication run via Slack and Zoom. We’re following the Scrum process with 2-week iterations and practice Agile Way of Working in close, day-to-day collaboration with each other.

Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise systems like JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Apache Airflow, Oracle products, Kubernetes, Informatica, etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor support, managing relationships and resolving technical issues during system maintenance and installations
- Monitor and implement version updates across all platforms, ensuring systems remain current and secure
- Provide technical support to development teams, facilitating environment access and resolving connectivity issues
- Manage and maintain both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and operational processes
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support
Qualifications and Skills
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and team collaboration
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or platform operations
- Experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes
- Proficient in both Windows and Linux administration
