Summer Internship 2025

KSAT is a world leading provider of Ground Network Services and Earth Observation, and operate and deliver fast and reliable space services - every day.

As an Intern at KSAT you will either join the Ground Network team or the Earth Observation team as a system engineer, solutions engineer, software developer. You will be working on developing a reliable and fully automated service that connects Space and Earth using the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions, for small satellites and large constellations.

You will work on the same tasks that some of our full-time system engineers are working on, and your contribution will be substantial. At the end of your internship, you will present your work to the rest of KSAT with your team.

About You

We are looking for students who have completed at least 3 years of higher education for our summer internship program of 2025. We want students with an interest in working in the fast-paced environment sector. We need students who are sufficient in programming languages such as Python or similar, with an education in physics, data science, math, cybernetics/robotics, electronics, data communication, remote sensing, GIS, space science, Optical and SAR satellite imagery or similar. It is a plus if you have experience working with machine learning, modelling and simulation or network optimization. As a Ground Network Intern, You Will Work On

• Either the Products team or the team related to KSAT Lite services.
• Optimizing the usage of the ground station networks
• Develop new ways of connecting space assets to ground
• Modelling and simulating antenna loading
• Forecasting orbital conflicts at ground station
  
  

As An Earth Observation Intern, You Will Work On

• Work with new and advanced sensor technologies
• Contribute to building new products and services
• Collaborate with experts in the field of remote sensing who work with a global portfolio of customers

Practical Information About The Internship

• The period of the internship is from June to August of 2025.
• Core working hours are between 9 and 15
• KSAT will assist with housing for students who require accommodation.
