We are supporting a growing SME who are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of a cutting-edge, AWS-hosted management platform.

This role offers the chance to work within an agile development environment, leveraging test-driven development to create innovative solutions for a greener future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide secure, stable, and scalable production, staging, and test environments.
• Support development teams with isolated cloud environments.
• Set up cloud-based CI/CD pipelines for source code management, builds, deployments, and releases.
• Collaborate with development teams on the transition to cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee the release process, ensuring zero downtime.
• Monitor and optimise system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement cost-effective solutions.

Experience required:

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:

Essential:

• Extensive experience with AWS, Terraform, and Python.
• Proven experience migrating on-premise workloads to the cloud.
• Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools and processes, particularly GitHub and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Serverless development and relational databases.

Desirable:

• Experience in monitoring and optimizing system performance.
