Engineering Manager

Their stack includes Node/TypeScript/React/PHP/AWS.

The Role:

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and grow teams of 8-12 talented engineers.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for and implement best practices, clean code principles, and robust testing standards.
• Stay hands-on to a degree, ensuring your technical leadership resonates with the team.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and impactful software solutions.

About You

I am looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing engineering teams and fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment. (SaaS background is ideal)
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Brings a strong technical background and remains connected to the tools and frameworks that empower engineers. (Node/TypeScript/PHP/Laravel backgrounds will be required)
• Champions best practices in software development, including clean code and test-driven approaches.
• Thrives in a collaborative hybrid work environment, balancing time in the office with flexible working arrangements.

The role pays up to $200,000 + Super + Bonus
Is a Hybrid opportunity based in Sydney CBD (3 days in office)
