Workplace Architect

We are seeking a Workplace Architect for a freelance mission with our client. The details of the assignment are as follows:

• Position: Workplace Architect
• Location: West Flanders
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
• Workload: Full-time
• Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week
• Languages Required: Dutch and English

Profile:

As a Workplace Architect, your role extends beyond designing solutions to include the implementation and configuration of chosen solutions. For example, if the business decides to install a new printer, it will be your responsibility to:

• Consult with the business.
• Create the design.
• Challenge the integrator.
• Select and implement the optimal solution.

Responsibilities:

You will support the IT team in managing digital workplaces (over 8,000 centrally managed workplaces).

Key tasks include:

• Solution Architecture for various workplace-related requests:
• Analyze business requests and design, document, and budget solutions.
• Develop the support model for new solutions.
• Validate and approve implementation proposals from service providers.
• Document standards and architectural decisions.
• Coordinate the execution of changes and projects.

Ongoing Initiatives:

• Implementing Windows Hello for Business.
• Migrating from a legacy GPO setup to Intune-managed policies.
• Managing OT (Android) devices, including designing support models.
• Managing mobility services for field technicians.

Required Skills:

• Experience in workplace management within a large, complex, and distributed environment.
• Ability to translate business and ITC requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with innovations in workplace environments, particularly within the Microsoft portfolio.
• Expertise in creating proofs of concept, documenting solutions, and transferring them to service providers.
• Deep knowledge of MS Intune, Group Policies, and Azure AD is essential.
