Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of defending our company’s digital infrastructure from various security threats. You will design and implement advanced security measures, ensuring that all systems are robust against attacks while promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

What will you be doing?

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions across the company while ensuring compliance with the latest standards.
• Monitor IT systems for security threats and vulnerabilities; conduct regular risk assessments and penetration testing.
• Lead incident response activities including forensic analysis and mitigation of security breaches.
• Develop and update company-wide security policies and procedures, and conduct training sessions for staff on security awareness.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to promote security best practices and solutions.
• Maintain and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; security certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles, with hands-on experience in managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Expert knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security.
• Proficiency in using SIEM systems and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for security tasks automation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure, particularly during security incidents and breaches.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of leading security training and awareness programs.
