Currently, we are about to open the largest supercapacitor factory in the world in the Leipzig area, Germany. Further expansion plans will shortly lead Skeleton to France.

Skeleton's Product Development department is looking for a driven and experienced
Senior Software Engineer
with the vision to match our ambition.
Your tasks in the net zero journey:
- Design software platform and architecture development
- Work as a subject matter expert in customer projects
- Contribute to the company's technology and product roadmap development
- Work with research projects
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the software development process and tool development
We don't expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you'll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:
- Very good embedded software development skills (C, C++, and other languages are a plus): application control software, communications, RTOS
- Experience in software architecture design
- Full development cycle experience i.e. from automotive or other industries
- Experience in meeting software quality targets like ASPICE levels, and functional safety targets like ASIL from ISO26262 or SIL from IEC61508
- Experience in CyberSecurity i.e. conducting TARA
- You have good experience and are interested in developing software development tools and processes (requirements management, testing, V&V, etc.)
- Electrical engineering understanding and experience in energy storage and power electronics applications
- BSc or MSc as education
