Senior National Account Manager ( Health and Beauty)
My Client has some of the best brands in the FMCG marketplace and due to a re-structure and a change to business operations; an opportunity has arose for a National Account Manager for their Health and Beauty Team.

Orna the Head of the Division / your manager said " a lot of the role is down to being organised - excellent communication skills are essential- we have a really strong brand portfolio and as important as the external piece is getting buy in from the field sales team- the focus is very much on growing sales and driving distribution."
NB- For this position you must have 3-6 years domestic FMCG Account management experience- ideally working with the mults but if not Discounters/ Convenience at head office level.
JOB PURPOSE
The National Account Manager will report to the Head of Health & Beauty. This person will be focused on developing relationships with a mix of key customers and on delivering the commercial plans across the Health & Beauty portfolio.
They will work closely with the Brand & Trade Marketing teams in building and executing customer business plans, including trade activation plans and promotional calendars. They will also work closely with the Business Development team in executing these plans at store level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of Key Account Plans with H&B customer portfolio
Growing distribution points through targeted expansion of their customer portfolio
Achievement of Forecast and Budget Revenue targets
Management of Price Promotions and Trade Spend in line with Budgets for Off Trade
Management of all elements of the customer Price File including full delivery of all CPIs
Delivery of Sales Forecast on time and accurately by sku.
Developing and executing Joint Business Plan’s with Key Customers.
Achievement of company NPD, Range and Distribution targets
Work in conjunction with Commercial Finance and Trade Marketing to develop promotional plans suitable to each customer while seeking to maximise profitability for the business
Ability to analyse complex data and present solutions that deliver results.
Initiative to learn from previous executions, and be able to adapt and optimize future plans based on these learnings
Be a leader within the team to support & develop key members to grow and develop.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Extensive sales and customer management experience in a retail/wholesale/pharmacy channel.
Degree in a business related area. (Relevant experience may qualify).
Strong Commercial acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent relationship building & teamwork skills.
Proven negotiation skills; High level of IT proficiency-Word and Powerpoint.
Resilience & able to work on their own initiative
