Research And Development Scientist

We’re seeking an R&D Scientist to join our client’s team within the Veterinary Diagnostics Industry.

This role is based full time on site in Naas.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will ensure daily R&D work is carried out in an accurate and efficient manner as scheduled by the R&D Management.

The maintenance and development of R&D administrative systems

Assisting in scheduling, organising, executing, and documenting R&D product development projects and other associated activities.

Assist all areas, including, Production, Quality etc.

Compilation of data for final product specifications, validation, and R&D reports.

Comply with Health and Safety requirements as detailed in the Safety Statement and associated policies and procedures and to report any defects or tasks being carried out in an unsafe manner.

Any other duties as directed by laboratory management.

The ideal candidate:

Have a minimum of a degree in a life science.

Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.

Experience in sample management, microplate assays, formulations, would be beneficial but not essential.

Knowledge/Understanding of production operations, quality control, quality assurance and cGMP/GLP requirements would be beneficial but not essential.

Ability to demonstrate working as a team member as well as individually.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
