What is the project about?
The team of 7 data analysts is supporting both Academic & Government (A&G) and Corporate markets. We are responsible for providing the Sales with data-based insights. We use the latest technologies such as Tableau for dashboards, Salesforce as our CRM and Snowflake for our data warehouse. We are responsible for driving the data culture in Sales.
An exciting opportunity as a Sales Insights and Enablement Analyst has come up. You will be working closely with the team to maintain and develop key performance Tableau dashboards. You will also help provide insights by analysing the business for risks and opportunities.
The team is currently also exploring GenAI and the ways it can help them find opportunities resulting from analysis of client communication data. If you are interested in this, then you are welcome to support this exploration as well.
Main responsibility
Create and maintain Tableau dashboards for Sales to help monitor business performance and outlook.
Other responsibilities
Work with Tech team to bring in the required data and build appropriate data models in Snowflake. Support the Sales Strategy & Operations (SSO) teams with data they need for key projects such as territory planning and regular business reviews.
Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to enhance data analysis and provide predictive insights Support team in providing key views to Product and Marketing groups giving them visibility on sales data.
Support your colleagues in sales insights team to educate Sales in data literacy and drive the data culture/community in Sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a quantitative field such as Economics, Math, Statistics, or Data Science
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in building dashboards in Tableau
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation in Snowflake or similar data warehouse
Preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global sales professionals
- Ability to work independently leading own projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to build cross functional relationships with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the global business
- Previous experience working in a Sales operations role and working with Salesforce CRM or Clari
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI-driven analytics
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and tools for data analysis
