Network Engineer

A leading consultancy is seeking a Network Engineer to join their growing team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the transformation of diverse networks into a unified, future-proof network landscape.

Responsibilities

Network Transformation

• Lead and execute the consolidation of diverse networks into a single, future-proof network landscape.
• Establish renewed infrastructure for scalability, resilience, and modern functionality.

Backup Management

• Set up and manage backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

Monitoring and Visibility

• Implement advanced monitoring tools and solutions to ensure real-time network health visibility.
• Make capacity usage transparent for better planning and resource allocation.

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with production teams and product owners to improve productivity and network predictability.
• Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to product owners, facilitating shared understanding and collaboration.

Shared Principles and Collaboration

• Build a shared understanding of context, goals, and principles to foster better teamwork and project outcomes.

Qualifications

Educational and Professional Background

• Minimum HBO-level work and thinking ability, demonstrated by an HBO diploma or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies in IT infrastructure (minimum 2 years).
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP.
• Affinity with technology and Infra-ICT.

Soft Skills

• Proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
