Mobile Developer - Digital Payments

Project Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to support various digital initiatives and accelerate the development of key projects. As our client, a leading bank, continues its transition to Agile methodologies, the successful talent will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of development squads, driving impactful and timely results. This is a hands-on development role, requiring expertise in iOS and/or Android platforms, with a focus on delivering high-quality mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience in mobile development, with a preference for individuals with knowledge of .NET, Angular, or React frameworks. Candidates based in Perth are preferred but remote work is an option for highly qualified individuals. Experience in the banking sector is beneficial but not mandatory.

Key Activities:

• Mobile Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms. Ensure code is clean, efficient, and scalable to meet project goals.
• Agile Development: Work within Agile development teams, participating in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and project managers, to identify solutions and deliver mobile applications that meet business requirements.
• Technology Integration: Where applicable, integrate .NET and Angular/React frameworks into mobile applications. Ensure seamless interaction between front-end mobile apps and backend systems.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure functionality, security, and a seamless user experience. Address bugs and issues in a timely manner to maintain project timelines.

Your Background:

• Mobile Development (iOS/Android): Proven experience in developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms, with a minimum of 3 years in professional development.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices and experience working in an Agile team environment, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Full Stack Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with .NET, Angular, or React frameworks is advantageous.
• Location Preference (Perth): Candidates based in Perth are preferred, but remote work options are available for candidates with exceptional qualifications.
• Banking Experience (Optional): Previous experience working on digital projects within the banking sector is beneficial but not required.
