Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to meet business, quality, and operational needs.
  • Build high-quality code by developing both unit and integration tests.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using a Microservices architecture with Java.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to team standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot code-level problems efficiently.
  • Demonstrate strong technical problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Work with backend technologies including Java 8 and Spring Boot.
  • Leverage experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for application deployment and scaling.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in computer science or a related technical field.
  • 4 years of professional experience developing scalable, distributed applications.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Java 8.
  • Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
  • Familiarity with containerization technology such as Docker.
  • Experience with building or contributing to cloud-based API platforms or backend systems.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies is a bonus.
