Responsibilities

• Report and Dashboard Development related to operation of the Aftermarket Business:
• Design and build interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet stakeholder requirements.
• Develop data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and insights.
• Maintain existing dashboards and reports critical for operations
• Persona-Centric Design:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the unique needs of different business personas.
• Customize reports to ensure relevance and usability for specific user groups.
• Data Analysis and Insights:
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that align with business goals.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on analysis.
• Data Modeling and Integration:
• Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of robust data models in Power BI to support efficient reporting.
• Integrate data from various sources to build comprehensive datasets.
• Optimization and Maintenance:
• Regularly update and optimize existing reports for performance and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Best Practices and Standards:
• Implement Power BI best practices, including design, data visualization standards, and performance optimization.
• Stay updated on Power BI features and industry trends.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and end-users, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences
• Manage small projects as required
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot, and report design.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UX design.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• ERP knowledge (Microsoft AX, Infor, CRM)
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven
• Fluent in English
• Excellent organizational, communication skills and ability to interact professionally with team members
  
  

Assets

• Engineering or business degree or equivalent experience
• IT Skills and/or experience
• Knowledge of data warehouse (EDW) principles
• Knowledge of data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, VBA)
• Experience working with Azure or other cloud-based platforms.
• Financial & business knowledge
• Knowledge of injection molding machinery and related mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic technologies
• Knowledge of service business
• Certification in Power BI or data analytics is a bonus.
