About The Team

Governance and Experience(GNE) Data Scientist works closely with the GNE Algo&Ops teams in each region, is aiming to support the GNE team to make TikTok shop a safe and trustworthy platform for customers, sellers and influencers. What you can get here is totally different from a pure shelf-based ecommerce business model. Join us, and let's change the way people shop online!

• Set up the metrics to measure governance and experience(GNE) operation activities, including management of risk, fraud and abuse, as well as experiences from sellers, customers and influencers;
• Responsible for justifying GNE business value in a scientific way, work closely with the business teams to figure out the goals in both short term and long term;
• Monitoring the key metric changes, and deep dive for the reason behind. Highlight the key insights to business partners with timely response;
• Make business impact with data and proactively generate insights and solutions for business partners to make the business achieve the goal.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in mathematics, statistics, computer is preferred; or major in science or engineering or engaged in data statistics, analysis, modeling related working areas after graduation;
• Proficient in SQL and Tableau, and familiar with Python or R for data analysis is a plus;
• At least 1 years of working experience in data analysis;
• Able to complete reports and communicate with global staff and senior leadership independently;
• Ablitly to quickly pick up the business domain, be a fast learner and be curious;
• Can keep up with the fast growing business pace, be brave for pressure and be flexible for changes.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce/tech company is highly preferred.
