The Data Analyst specializing in Tableau, will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets and transforming them into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs and develop effective data visualization strategies using Tableau. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and technical proficiency in Tableau to deliver impactful solutions.

What You'll Do

• Analyze critical and complex data sets based on reporting requirements, that can help the ETL developer to model the data in snowflake.
• Develop and implement data visualization strategies using Tableau to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Create views in Snowflake which can be used as data sources in Tableau.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and translate requirements into effective Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations to present findings to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to best practices.
• Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data, reports and dashboards across reporting tools.
• Provide training and support to users on Tableau functionality and best practices.
• Develop a data dictionary for report metrics, KPIs, and KRIs
• Stay updated on Tableau developments and recommend enhancements or new tools to improve data visualization and analysis capabilities.
  
  

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5 years as a Data Strategist, Data Analyst, or similar role with a focus on Tableau.
• Expertise in data visualization principles and best practices, particularly using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with large data sets and databases (SQL, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Tableau Desktop Certified Professional or equivalent certification.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range: $92,250 USD - $153,500 USD
