Sr Product Designer - Ads

About the Role

In this role, you will carefully balance the delivery of short-term roadmapped features of our Advertising tools for small, medium and large advertisers, with creation of flourishing platform experiences partnered with Data Science, Product, Engineering and Design Operations.

The mission of the Uber Ads Design team is to invent, design and build platforms that enable Advertisers, Media Buyers, Merchants and Creators to accelerate their business growth using the Uber Ads platform.

We are looking for a stellar product designer, who is passionate about building tools and experiences that drive increased usage and productivity for Advertisers. In this role, you will be crafting magical user experiences for a diverse set of users at small to medium sized businesses, consumer packaged goods companies, grocery, alcohol and restaurants across the world. As a contributor to a growing world-class team, you will define bar-raising user requirements, drive architectural thinking, influence our product roadmaps, and have creative freedom to transform the way the world gets anywhere and anything delivered.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with your cross-functional team to create a vision - bringing in your own perspective, listening to others', and driving towards alignment
• Build wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs based on our UI framework to tackle difficult UX problems
• Design systems to make simple, elegant experiences based on our complex logistics and machine learning technology
• Present work in a range of mediums and fidelities throughout the design process.
• Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality.
• Champion user research to develop a deep understanding of user workflows
• Create an end product that's both functional (efficient, clear) and visually elegant

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of Design Experience

Solid portfolio with E2E case studies required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with the latest tools to build design and a strong desire to learn new ones. Figma expertise encouraged.
• Effective prototyping skills
• Experience building products for Android, iOS, and web
• Fast-paced with the ability to prioritize projects concurrently
• Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles.
• Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
• Ability to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team.
• A degree in HCI, Graphic Design, or related field is preferred.
• A portfolio showing your high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
