Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Operations Specialist/Generalist to manage and optimize day-to-day operations within our rapidly growing crypto services company. This role requires a strong understanding of blockchain technology, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining processes, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the operational framework aligns with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Process Management: Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Onboarding & KYC/AML Compliance: Oversee client onboarding processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC/AML checks.
• Data Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of operational activities, asset management, and transaction flows.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with teams such as finance, customer support, and tech to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.
• Risk Management: Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports for senior management, covering key operational metrics, compliance updates, and project status.
• Customer & Partner Support: Act as a liaison with customers and partners to resolve operational challenges and support project implementations.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in an operations role, preferably in the crypto, fintech, or tech industries.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and industry trends.
• Proven experience in process optimization and project management.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as KYC/AML.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, data analysis, and operational software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with crypto custody solutions, exchange operations, or DeFi platforms.
• Understanding of smart contracts and blockchain transaction flows.

Languages: English and German (both don’t need to be native)
