Network Security Engineer - Azure Firewall

My client is a large well known Financial organisation and boasts a great working culture that includes hybrid working flexibility between Sydney office and home.

Due to an on-going large program of work with set delivery timelines, there is a requirement for an experienced contractor to join their Network team and focus on Azure Could firewalling. The main focus for this role would be to design & manage firewall and security policies within existing and new environments.

Key Skills And Experience Required

• Strong background as a Network Engineer, and in particular Network Security. Ability to design & implement solutions.
• Experience working within large environments, preferably in Financial organisations.
• Essential skill must have is Cloud Networking, in particular Azure Virtual Network and Azure Firewalls.
• Previous background working on migrations/separations would be highly advantageous.
• Checkpoint experience and/or Palo Alto would also be desirable.
• Automation - IaC highly desirable.
• Strong communicator.
• Can work from Sydney Office 2 days per week minimum.
