Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in the payments industry to join a high-performing cyber security team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payment application development, hardware security module (HSM) operations, and an understanding of cryptography and PCI compliance.
This role will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure payment systems and processes to safeguard customer data. You’ll get the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborating with internal teams and external customer counterparts to establish secure solutions and connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cryptographic keys, including generation, storage, rotation, and archival.
- Ensure secure operation of HSMs, including configuration, maintenance, and integration with payment systems.
- Design and implement robust security measures to guarantee continuous service availability and protection.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to monitor and maintain system uptime, addressing potential vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and security reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of security concerns.
- Collaborate across teams during incident response, providing decisive leadership for containment and resolution.
