How You Will Spend Your Time

• Effective delivery of defined scope insights – e.g. who should we target for this Campaign
• Effective delivery of blue-sky insights – with significant support from D&A leadership
• Advance the practice of analytics at ubank, and be a champion for the documentation of design, implementation of quality and maturity of our architectural principles.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and design and implement strategies to support business growth and operations with analytics assets and insights.
• Work collaboratively with our Data Engineers to understand underlying data assets and build business centric and reusable assets to fulfil analytical needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Digital, Growth and Marketing, Banking, Lending and Operations to understand data needs.
• Enforce data governance including regulatory compliance and uphold data quality standards in analysis and reporting.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Technical expertise in Power BI and building datasets to support self-service visualisation tools
• Technical expertise in analytic tools such as SQL, DBT or Python to extract meaning from complex data sources.
• Experience in insights and interest in building your career into Data Science & AI
• Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills and experience working with a range of technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and time management skills
• Experience working in the Marketing (MarTech), Product or Call Centre domains
  
  

Desirables

• Previous work experience with the Databricks platform (desirable)
• Experience in code mgmt. tools such as BitBucket, Jenkins and GitHub (highly desirable)
• Experience in financial products or insurance sectors (desirable). Nice to have
• Practical experience of data preparation, transformation and modelling techniques including Data Vault and Kimball/Inmon
• Previous insights experience at a Consultancy, Data Vendor or Agency
