Analyst - Analytics and Consulting (m/w/d)

The Analytics & Consulting team advises healthcare customers in Austria on market and sales strategy issues along the entire life cycle of a product. This includes market and competition analyses, development of market strategies, design of sales organizations, optimization of customer segmentation as well as performance measurements. Primary market research is also an important component of the product range. For the Analytics & Consulting team IQVIA is looking for a motivated Analyst (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• As part of our team you will support our customers operationally and strategically in the development and implementation of projects.
• In these projects, you are initially responsible for individual work packages and then continuously increase your responsibility up to sub-project management and independent customer communication.
• You will use internal comprehensive data sources to work on quantitative tasks, and rely on the support of internal IQVIA experts or external sources.
• You will use proven tools and analytical methods in your project work and develop your own innovative analytical approaches.
• In coordination with the team, you will be involved in the preparation, execution and follow-up of customer presentations and workshops.
• In addition to business development activities, you will also support the transfer of knowledge.
  
  

Your profile:

• Preferred background in natural sciences (e.g. chemistry, biochemical engineering, biomedical studies, medicine, pharmacology etc.) or studies in economics and/or marketing with strong interest in life sciences
• At least 1-3 years of work experience as well as basic understanding and interest in the pharmaceutical industry
• Advanced data analysis experience using statistical programming languages/software (e.g. SPSS, R, Python); experience in creating and designing dashboards (e.g. QLIK, Power BI, Tableau, Shiny) would be of advantage
• Very confident with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as advanced skills in data visualization.
• You are characterized by your quality, service and solution orientation as well as your excellent analytical thinking skills and data affinity.
• In addition, you have a quick perception and the talent to independently manage several innovative projects at the same time.
• Your open-minded character as well as very good presentation and communication skills in German and English round up your profile.
