The Role

As Head of Engineering you will:

• Define system and software architecture while driving implementation.
• Manage and mentor a team of 5 developers, staying hands-on in development.
• Design and implement scalable solutions for rapid growth.
• Oversee compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 27001, ensuring secure practices.
• Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Monitor and improve system performance and infrastructure.
• Set best practices for backend, mobile, and web development using Java, Spring, TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Implement analytics and logging to inform product improvements.
• Define a clear strategy for adopting future technologies.
• Align technical plans with business and product goals.
• Foster team growth through coaching and introducing best practices.

About You

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, specializing in system architecture and IT infrastructure design.
• Expertise in Java and TypeScript with experience building scalable backend systems, mobile apps, and dynamic web platforms.
• Adept at navigating the complexities of regulated industries or eager to master domains like healthcare for impactful innovation.
• Exceptional at translating technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
