About The Company

My client is a multinational investment bank and financial services holding company based in Dublin.

About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer for a 6-month contract to assist in the design, development, and support of a global financial compliance system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and front-end technologies like Bootstrap, jQuery, and Kendo UI, with a strong focus on user experience. This role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global teams and business partners to design, develop, and support high-performance software solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring the delivery of innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of the project, ensuring all deliverables meet business goals and technical standards.
  • Assist with the estimation, development, and debugging of complex software features.
  • Utilize your deep technical expertise to enhance the user experience and create a seamless front-end with modern tools like Bootstrap, jQuery, and Kendo UI.

Experience/Requirements

  • Extensive experience with C#, LINQ, ASP.NET MVC 5.x, and SQL Server (including T-SQL, query optimization, and stored procedures).
  • Strong experience in UI development, especially with Bootstrap 3, jQuery, and Kendo UI for creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • In-depth knowledge of database design, memory management, and asynchronous programming techniques (LINQ, Lambda, and threading).
  • Solid background in financial systems, particularly in Equities, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities, or Prime Brokerage.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodology, Git, JIRA, and modern CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium for web testing and TDD frameworks like NUnit or xUnit.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across globally distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, WebAPI, HTTP, and front-end frameworks like LESS or SASS.
  • A passion for problem-solving, innovation, and delivering high-quality code.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Remuneration Package

My client is offering a very attractive daily pay rate.
