Senior Data Engineer

• contribute to the design and development of data engineering solutions, including reviewing high-level designs and creating detailed low-level designs,
• work confidently with Azure Cloud technologies and data engineering tools, such as ADLS Gen2, Synapse, and ADF,
• create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data aggregation workflows,
• develop robust data pipelines using Python and PySpark for efficient data processing,
• design relational data models and schemas to support scalable and efficient data solutions,
• apply DevOps and CI/CD practices tailored to data engineering workflows,
• collaborate in a scrum team, participating in and supporting scrum ceremonies.

•  strong programming skills in Python, particularly for data manipulation and pipeline development,
• hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing and analysis,
• proficient in SQL, with experience in query writing, optimization, stored procedures, and data aggregation techniques,
• solid understanding of Azure Cloud and its data engineering services, such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse Analytics,
• relevant certifications in SQL, Python, or Azure Data Engineering are highly desirable,
• comfortable working in a Scrum/Agile environment, with active participation in Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
