Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Solutions Engineer - Lead [8-10 years of experience]

Responsibilities:

Kubernetes Management: Oversee the administration and lifecycle management of Kubernetes environments, including EKS clusters.

Cloud Migration: Lead and support the migration of applications and services from on-premises to cloud environments, specifically AWS.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.

CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Argo CD.

Observability and Monitoring: Set up and manage observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring cloud environments.

Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including vulnerability scanning and firewall management.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, and AWS services.

IaC Proficiency: Experience with Terraform and other IaC tools.

CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Argo CD.

Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Security Practices: Understanding of security best practices and tools for cloud environments.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.

Programming: Python, UNIX/Linux shell-scipting, Knowledge on Java/DotNet.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

Cloud Migrations: Experience in migrating applications from on-premises to cloud environments.

Multi-Tenancy: Knowledge of managing multi-tenancy clusters and environments.

Service Mesh: Familiarity with service mesh tools like Istio and Cilium.

Automation: Experience in automating infrastructure and application deployments.
