We are seeking an experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join our product organization focusing on Ahold Delhaize’s customers and employees.

The primary goal of this role is to oversee UX/UI practices across projects, from product discovery to the handover to developers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs while keeping the customer as the focal point.

Responsibilities

• Assess, research, and propose user-centric solutions
• Ideate, design, and document design propositions
• Present and advocate designs to Ahold Delhaize's brands for approval
• Drive the implementation of innovative solutions
• Ensure design compliance with AD’s guidelines by aligning with fellow designers from the design system
• Facilitate and participate in workshops to gather insights or address complex challenges
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge of design theory, principles, and best practices
• Prior experience in a lead role within a design team
• Expertise in Figma and Miro
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Proficiency in designing for responsive web and mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
• Experience in facilitating workshops
• Background in working closely with product managers and UX researchers
• Capability to effectively communicate and articulate design concepts
• Flexibility to adapt designs based on stakeholder feedback
• Strong command of the English language (C1+)
