Java Developer

Our client is a world leading IT Solutions provider looking to hire their next Java Developer, to develop a cutting-edge platform for their products.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems
• Continuously monitor production systems and respond to alerts and incidents promptly
• Provide solutions to technical problems, including step-by-step instructions and workarounds
• Escalate complex problems to R&D teams, effective communication and collaboration with the R&D teams, and timely escalation of the complex issues to Level 3 in R&D
• Assist in deploying new software releases, updates, and patches to the production environment while minimizing downtime and risk
• Be part of an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems, responding to emergencies outside of regular business hours
• Design and create new web services which should be integration bridges with external systems
• Create SQL queries for required basic statistical reports

Requirements:

• 3 years + hands on software development experience, with extensive knowledge of Java 17 and experience in Spring/Spring Boot
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, proficiency with ORM frameworks
• Good understanding of API, microservices
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum processes and ceremonies
• Ability to work with SQL (knowledge of Jasper Reports is a big plus).
