Job Description:

The AI Engineer will be responsible for integrating AI models into production systems, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Write efficient, maintainable code adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Utilize DevSecOps tools for code deployment and versioning.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of retrieval techniques, language models, and generative AI methodologies.
• Collaborate with data engineers to enhance data pipeline efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and refine retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods, including embedding, chunking, loading, and search algorithm setup.
• Experiment with various retrieval strategies, such as information retrieval, nearest-neighbor searches, or knowledge graph-based approaches, to enhance generative AI models.
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Present findings, insights, and methodologies to stakeholders, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Document AI models, algorithms, and processes thoroughly, preparing technical reports and presentations.
• Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to execute prioritized projects and features.
• Implement automated testing and monitoring to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI systems.

Education:

Candidates are evaluated case-by-case but should possess qualifications in disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Physics, or Bioinformatics.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in AI engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proven experience in building scalable AI solutions within a modern technology stack, including cloud services, data pipelines, and databases.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and test-driven development.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs for AI models.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts, such as neural networks, optimization algorithms, and evaluation metrics.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques, including instruction design, template-based approaches, and fine-tuning strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in an Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages, such as Node.js, TypeScript, C#, or Java.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and refining prompts for generative AI models.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Familiarity with building, deploying, and managing Docker images.
