Senior Software Engineer

We are building and scaling the Microsoft fleet scale platform. This is a new core foundational services that powers all Copilots for Microsoft and AOAI customers. As the number of scenarios and customer usage of Copilot(s) increases, an efficient fabric optimizing availability and utilization of inference capacity is the key to fulfilling the fast-growing demand. In this mission, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will help us build scalable, highly available, distributed systems that form the base to realize ambitious Microsoft vision for AI

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Build, deliver, and support high-quality distributed services to power the ML experience
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of platform while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale
• Contribute and discussions for the architecture of products/solutions and create proposals for architecture by testing design hypotheses and helping to refine code plans.Provide reactions, proposed solutions, and inputs to architects

Qualifications

Required and Preferred :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 7+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, or Python OR equivalent experience
