Lead-Manager UX/UI Designer - Argentina

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Manager UX/UI Designer in Argentina. The role involves leading and managing the UX/UI design team, conducting user research, implementing design thinking processes, and ensuring a seamless human-computer interaction experience.

• Manage and mentor a team of two designers, coordinating their efforts across five platform workstreams.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Balance discovery and design work to deliver both short-term solutions and long-term strategic designs.
• Provide input into product roadmaps and strategic initiatives, helping to identify focus areas for the platform.
• Develop a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and algorithmic approaches, with a willingness to build technical proficiency.
• Document work and write user stories in Azure DevOps for seamless integration with development teams.

Qualifications

• Human-Computer Interaction and Design Thinking skills
• User Research and UX Research skills
• Strong background in User Experience (UX)
• Experience in leading and managing design teams
• Knowledge of UI design principles
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX/UI, or related field
