Head of Finance – Pioneering Web3 Finance

From Bondex we're hiring a Head of Finance (pioneering web3 finance)for one of our fintech client who's redefining capital markets through blockchain-based solutions.

They are highly focused on tokenised stocks, bonds and funds, combining transparency, efficiency and security in a fully licensed trading and settlement system.

Location: Flexible remote work within Germany or Austria, with periodic team meetings (1/month or 1/quarter) in Germany.

Start Date: Spring 2025

Your Key Responsibilities As Head Of Finance

• Lead and grow the finance department, developing internal talent to scale with the company's rapid growth.
• Ensure compliance and enhance financial processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee liquidity planning, financial analysis, and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with external advisors across multiple countries to maintain financial and regulatory alignment.
• Play a pivotal role in due diligence and valuation for M&A initiatives.
  
  

We're Seeking An Entrepreneurial Finance Leader With This Background

• A strong academic foundation and professional track record in financial leadership.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as fintech, SaaS, or regulated financial firms.
• Solid expertise in financial modeling and familiarity with stock exchanges, MTFs, or other capital market infrastructures.
• Knowledge of market risk management or legal frameworks (a plus but not essential).
• German proficiency and fluid in English
• A hands-on, strategic mindset and a knack for delivering results under pressure.
