Java Software Engineer

Java Software Engineer - Permanent Position - Hybrid, Kildare - Salary Range €60,000 - €80,000 DOE.

As a Java Software Engineer, you will be part of my clients software development team, analysing, designing, and implementing innovative solutions for public transport.

Your Role:

Develop and refine software modules for fare management, accounting for payment transactions, and customer administration within international projects.

Develop and maintain Java source code for both the implementation of new features and the maintenance of existing ones.

Integrate external software, web portals, and online payment systems (smart card, credit card, mobile payment).

Analyse complex technical functions to better understand the “use cases” of our system users, ensuring targeted implementation of requirements.

Your Profile:

Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering

4+ years’ of experience in Java/J2EE and related frameworks based development, programming

Hands on experience is development of Micro Services (REST) using Spring boot

Hands on experience in Hibernate/Spring Data is mandatory

Angular experience is beneficial but not required

CI/CD experience is beneficial but not required
