An exciting opportunity to manage and enhance world leading shipping company’s Business Intelligence ecosystem, covering technologies such as SSAS, SSIS, Power BI, Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.

You will:

• support Business Intelligence (BI) platform, covering technologies such as SSAS, SSIS, Power BI, Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory;
• identify potential issues and actively propose innovative solutions and improvements, implement best practices and standards ensuring the stability and efficiency of the BI platform;
• develop and implement monitoring and optimization techniques for large datasets, ensuring high performance and responsiveness;
• evaluate, document, and recommend data-related software products and frameworks that align with technical architecture standards;
• design and execute Proof of Concepts to assess new BI solutions and technologies, demonstrating potential value and feasibility for the BI platform.

You are:

• having at least 5 years of experience in BI development, DBA, data architecture, or a similar role;
• confident in Azure services, specifically Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Gen2, Azure Analysis Services, and Fabric;
• advanced in T-SQL for complex query writing, optimization, and data manipulation;
• experienced in data movement and migration using ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Dataflow, or similar;
• competent in supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing tabular models and large Power BI datasets;
• knowledgeable in Programming Languages PySpark, Python, KQL;
• conversant in PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, monitor resources, and improve efficiencies;
• proficient in SQL Server Change Data Capture to manage real-time data changes and synchronizations;
• familiar with Power BI Service administration, including gateway management and Premium workspace setup;
• acquainted with CI/CD, including code management and configuration tools like GitHub;
• fluent in English, having excellent communication skills.
