Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands (2 days a week in person)

Contract: 12 Months +

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software to improve system stability and performance.
• Provide 2nd-line support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and prevent issues, focusing on root cause analysis.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Create and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Proactively manage issues, monitor user experience, and automate remediation.
• Build integrations between applications and cloud services.
• Take ownership of services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Implement effective system health monitoring and respond to outages.
• Design business-critical systems and adapt to new technological advancements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and act as an escalation point.

Experience:

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Skilled in programming languages such as Python and Ruby.
• Experience with logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Zabbix).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and maintaining scalable systems.
• Proven expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile DevOps environments.
