We seek a Backend Developer (Mid/Senior) willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid work model in Porto (once a week in the office).

Are you the one?

• Experience of approximately 4 years in Python and Django.
• Competence in designing, implementing and maintaining system components.
• Focus on code excellence, practicing quality methodologies such as TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), consistently ensuring good test coverage and automation.
• Ability to design, create and document external RESTful APIs, compatible with international health standards.
• Proactivity to drive continuous improvement, optimizing ways of working and adapting to change.
• Responsibility throughout the development lifecycle, from design to operation, with strong practical problem-solving skills.
• English is important, as this is to work with a unit outside Portugal.
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs, user interfaces, connectivity services, API integrations, authentication and authorization.
• Practical knowledge of various protocols, such as Websockets, WebRTC and streaming.
• Solid understanding of system and data architecture standards.
• Relevant knowledge of cloud-related services, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (k8s).
• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams (valued)
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, observability and GitOps (valued).
• Valid permit to work in Portugal.
