At Ad4 Octogono we are looking for a Principal Java Developer with high-level English proficiency to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge technology projects. If you have strong Java expertise, experience with AWS, and a passion for Agile practices, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement solutions on the AWS platform, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Leverage Agile methodologies to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
  • Apply TDD and BDD principles to develop high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures to support scalable applications.
  • Use Continuous Integration tools like Git, GitHub, and Jenkins for efficient and seamless development workflows.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java programming (versions 8/11/17) with a deep understanding of its ecosystems.
  • Proven experience with AWS services and architecture.
  • Solid knowledge and practical application of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks and practices.
  • Experience in designing event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency with Continuous Integration tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Experience in pre-production or production deployments in cloud environments.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • University degree in technology, preferably computer science.
