DevOps Engineer

Worldline Operation Services subdivision provides transversal IT production services to all Worldline Business lines around the world. We focused on real time monitoring for major international services. As a service oriented department, we are experts in supervision, fast incident response and creating or integrating technical solutions around monitoring. Our full team is made up of 100+ people located in different European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands and Poland).

Joining a team with multi-disciplinary mindset, responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing platform solutions as a servant leader, ensuring efficient and effective work to developers. Key responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions for applications, services, and infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.

- Integrate monitoring solutions seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze monitoring data to identify and troubleshoot performance issues, incidents, and system bottlenecks.

- Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance monitoring capabilities and streamline processes.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to monitoring and performance management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- First experience as a DevOps with a focus on development

- Solid development skills on Java language (especially J2EE), C++

- Good knowledge in frontend technologies such as HTML / CSS / Apache

- Good knowledge in DB technologies such as Oracle SQL / Postgres

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab CI/CD, maven, makefiles) and best practices.

- Good scripting skills in languages such as Python, or Bash for automation tasks.

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Puppet or Ansible.

- System-side Knowledge for high valuable Applications Servers (Jboss, Weblogic)

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Design highly available robust solutions based on HAProxy load balancers.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (mainly Google Cloud).

- Red Hat Linux experience: installation, automation, configuration, maintenance.

- Proficient in English.
