Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary responder for new security incidents reported by the Security Operations Center (SOC) team.
- Collaborate with the customer’s internal IT team and the local Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to handle incidents, including validating their legitimacy and determining appropriate response actions.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and escalate as needed.
- Identify the root causes of security incidents and offer mitigation recommendations.
- Ensure proper incident management documentation by keeping ticketing systems up to date and logging all actions taken.
- Work closely with off-site teams in France, including L1/L2 analysts and the Service Delivery Manager, to maintain business continuity and provide backup support when necessary.
- Provide regular updates and reports to customer stakeholders as needed.
Technology/Systems in Use:
- SIEM Platform: Sentinel
- Alert Orchestrator: Palo Alto XSOAR
- Ticketing System: ServiceNow
- Vulnerability Analysis: Rapid7
Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in security incident handling or a cybersecurity-related role.
- In-depth understanding of security incident management processes and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with IT environments and security tools for detection and response.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working collaboratively with remote teams is a plus.
- Proficient in managing incidents from detection through resolution.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
- Ability to adapt to customer needs and service requirements, particularly in cases of absence or emergency.
