Senior Business Analyst – Current Account and Routing (CAR)

Rabobank is transitioning to a new, in-house developed platform to better meet future ambitions. The platform is nearly complete, and large-scale account migrations will soon begin, ensuring seamless 24/7 operations for customers. The bank is also exploring future opportunities like Banking as a Service (BaaS) and Open Banking. In this environment, you will work as a Senior Business Analyst with two dev/ops squads that operate fully Agile/Scrum.

You and Your Job

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will help develop a robust current account system within a new application landscape, leveraging API and Cloud technologies. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure 24/7 efficient account processing for both business and private customers, while also supporting internal financial administrative tasks.

Three Practical Examples

• Develop features for CNA (new current account) and GPS (booking routing) systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for functional content questions from start to finish.
• Collaborate with business architects on architectural issues and business opportunities.

In CAR team we are responsible for a robust current account system in a new application landscape. This detached fit-for-future architecture (Mainframe, API, Cloud) serves as a foundation for payment innovation, new business models, products, delivering 24/7 fast, reliable, and efficient processing of current accounts for both business and private customers. We are working on multiple features simultaneously for different systems (CNA – new current account and GPS – transaction routing), and you will play a role in both innovation and continuity within your area of focus.

You and your talent

• HBO working and thinking level
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in the financial sector, preferably with experience in payments
• 2+ years of experience working with multicultural, multifunctional teams in a DevOps/Agile environment
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English
• A curious attitude, you know how to develop your own workload
• Customer focus, communication skills, result responsibility, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Big plus if you know COBOL
