Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Act as a Solution Designer for advanced data analytics solutions, ensuring that all designs are in alignment with architectural guidelines.
• Collaboration: Engage in continuous dialogue with data engineers, experts, and other solution designers within Vattenfall to ensure cohesion across various departments.
• Mentorship: Train and guide lead data engineers in the best practices of solution architecture to empower them to take over solution design duties after the role concludes.
• Support Agile Teams: Provide solution design expertise and support to four agile teams, helping them integrate the best practices for creating state-of-the-art analytics solutions.

Essential Skills:

• Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in Solution Design and Data Engineering.

Technical Expertise:

• Power BI for reporting and analytics.
• Databricks for big data processing.
• Azure Data Factory for ETL processes.
• SSIS for integration services.
• Snowflake for cloud-based data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, APIs, Data Warehousing, and Data Modelling.
• Hands-on experience with IT Architecture guidelines and principles.
• Expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL for data manipulation.
• Power Shell, Power Apps, and Star Schema data modelling.
• Experience with the Azure Cloud Framework and Azure Synapse Workspace.
• Familiarity with GIT and CI/CD processes.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with PostgreSQL, GIT, Data Warehousing, ETL, and SQL.

Competencies:

• Digital: Experience in Google Data Engineering, Cloud Data Solutions, and modern data analytics platforms.
• Solution Design: Ability to design scalable and maintainable data solutions.
• Leadership: Experience in mentoring and training teams on architecture best practices.
