introNationale Nederlanden (NN) is launching a neobank next year in the Dutch market. Get ready to drive digital change at NN, one of the Netherlands’ biggest financial services companies, by directly contributing to the overall quality of our flagship NN App.

As a Lead Quality Assurance, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the quality of multiple customer journeys around Customer onboarding, Mobile payments and Money transfers in our NN App. In your new job, the decisions you make and the QA strategy you adopt across the product chain has the potential to make a difference in over 500,000 customers’ lives every day.

Wat je gaat doen

As our QA Lead, you will get comfortable with our Payments product chain that involves a mobile App, Digital Product Layer built on AWS, and multiple external SaaS providers. You ideate, facilitate, coordinate the QA of seamless customer journeys that originate from the NN App, whether they’re onboarding new customers, contactless payments, ordering a new debit card, or making / checking transactions. For verifying such mission-critical features across the product chain, you adopt automation not limiting to shift-left practices, ephemeral environments, and test data lifecycle management.

You will work primarily with Detox, Cucumber, JMeter, Maveric’s RapidTest with a fair amount of exposure towards JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS Serverless technologies (e.g. API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EventBridge etc) and Azure DevOps.

• You collaborate, coach, and influence fellow DevOps Engineers & QA Engineers towards best practices in software (product) quality, testing practices, promote reuse and optimize product release lifecycle
• Guide QA Engineers in ensuring regression tests are automated in a standardized manner
• Leads temporary / short-term projects that will cause changes in the product chain
• Coordinates rollout of changes in the product chain by communicating with involved teams and ensuring the overall quality is not compromised
• Lead the defect management, automated test data creation across the product chain in a standardized manner

What You Will Bring

You know how to work in an Agile environment where collaboration, feedback loops, and continuous improvements are the foundations. Additionally, you possess:

• 8+ years of experience working as an all-round software quality expert
• Demonstrated experience as a QA Lead for a product driven organization in the past
• Hands-on experience testing web / mobile products, with special focus on AWS and multiple SaaS providers
• Shift-left mindset and authoritative knowledge on software testing patterns
  
  

Met wie je werkt

You are going to work across multiple teams that form the entire Payments product chain. Each team consists of uniquely awesome individuals with different backgrounds and cultures who are working together to build and maintain the Payments product.

You will work closely with a few QA Engineers that are embedded in those teams. You will report to the Engineering Manager of Payments.
