Front End Architect (ReactJS)

We are seeking a Front End Architect with deep expertise in ReactJS to join our talented engineering team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing and building cutting-edge frontend applications that power both internal tools and customer-facing platforms, spanning web and native mobile.

The product is a global leader in a niche field and the team need someone to help them on their jounrey, expanding into new markets!

Responsibility:

• Architect Scalable Solutions: Define and implement robust, scalable frontend architectures using ReactJS and supporting technologies.
• Lead Innovation: Stay at the forefront of evolving frontend technologies, introducing best practices and tools to the team.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration across the stack.
• Optimize Performance: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring fast and fluid experiences for all users.
• Mentor and Guide: Act as a technical leader, sharing your expertise and supporting the growth of other engineers on the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise in ReactJS: Extensive experience building complex applications with ReactJS, including performance optimization and state management (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).
• Strong JavaScript Fundamentals: In-depth understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and component-based architectures.
• UI/UX Awareness: A keen eye for design details, accessibility, and delivering pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Experience with Build Tools: Proficiency in Webpack, Vite, or other modern build tools.
• Full-Stack Mindset: Familiarity with backend integration and an appreciation for working across the entire stack.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Continuous Learner: A passion for staying updated on the latest trends in frontend development.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js) or static site generation.
• Knowledge of mobile app development (React Native or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.
