About The Role
We are hiring a Senior Android Engineer to join the Level Shoes engineering team on a 6-12 month contract (with potential for a permanent role). You will play a key role in modernizing our Android app, ensuring smooth performance, stability, and scalability.

We are hiring a Senior Android Engineer to join the Level Shoes engineering team on a 6-12 month contract (with potential for a permanent role). You will play a key role in modernizing our Android app, ensuring smooth performance, stability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the Level Shoes Android app (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
- Work on performance optimizations, caching, offline support, and user experience improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features and integrations.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality releases.
- 5+ years of Android development experience (Java & Kotlin).
- Expertise in Kotlin Coroutines, MVVM/MVI, Jetpack Compose, and Firebase.
- Strong knowledge of threading, caching, and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Familiarity with Google’s Material Design and Android Studio.
- Experience in e-commerce app development.
- Prior experience migrating large legacy codebases.
- Familiarity with Gerrit and Media3 video library.
- Location: Dubai HQ (onsite; relocation support available).
- Contract: 6-12 months, potential for permanent hire.
