Software Engineer (Trading firm)

Our client is a reputable global trading firm, we are helping them hire a full stack software engineer as part of a new trading desk in Singapore.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in full-stack software development.
  • Proficiency in a lower level language like Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
  • Knowledge of a frontend framework like Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Good Computer Science degree/educational background


Preferred skills include:

  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Practical experience with Go and React.
  • Comfortable with Python.
  • Experience in handling SQL database operations.
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring systems including Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, and Fluentd.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform.
  • Experience in designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
  • Experience interacting with cryptocurrency exchanges.
