Python Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Python Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City NJ or Tampa FL or Coppell TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working on Python and open source Tech
• Experience in working on Splunk and monitoring tools
• Experience in Web servers, App servers.
• Knowledge of design principles
• Capable of analyzing Business requirements and building Functional and Technical requirements.
• In-depth exposure to Scrum Ceremonies.
• Experience in working in Agile Scrum teams, as SPOC for clients, and coordination with remote teams globally.
• Good analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Strong Communication Skills
  
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs
