Human Resources Assistant

Job Title: Temporary Human Resource Assistant (90-Day Contract)

Location: 100% Remote

Hourly Rate: $20-25/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Minimum 3 months, with potential for extension

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Temporary Talent Lead to join our team on a 90-day contract. This role is a stop-gap measure to support our talent operations while we search for a permanent Talent Lead. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR onboarding, talent management, and using HR systems like UKG, PeopleSoft, or Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee talent operations and support HR onboarding processes.
• Conduct new hire onboarding, including offer letters, background checks, and drug screenings.
• Communicate effectively with a large population of employees and provide status updates.
• Handle random projects, pull reports, and data from UKG, and manage spreadsheets.
• Submit IT equipment requests and work with the IT department.
• Assist with labor and employee relations, and support two business partners.
• Report to the interim HR admin assistant/onboarding specialist.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or a related field.
• Experience with HR systems like UKG, PeopleSoft, or Workday.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Degree not necessarily required.

Interview Process:

• One round of interviews (30 minutes).

Work Hours:

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Information:

• This is a temporary role with no conversion to a permanent position.
• The candidate should be productive and able to dive into tasks with minimal training.
